Decadent Effete “Elites”

"Pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall." – the Bible

The Founding Fathers who traveled to France were disgusted by the decadence and effeminacy of the “elites” there. They were also disgusted by the British “elites” - and we fought a war to get away from them (“The American Revolution was not only a revolt of colonials against a distant government; it was also an uprising of a native middle class against an imported aristocracy.”).

Unfortunately, decadent elites have been the history of the world (they’ve always been that “1%” that crushed everyone else through political power). And often there has been war when the people get tired of them (check out what was done to the “elites” in France during the French Revolution – some of the vengeance involved baking them alive in ovens. The guillotine was the easy way out.).

Of course, we now have our own decadent “elites.” The Bushes, all of whom I despise beyond what I can say, are a bunch of drug-addled, alcoholic poseurs who’ve never had a job in their lives. Decadent effete elites.

It is astonishing anyone voted for them. They’ve got money and drug problems – and I’m sure sex problems. Those three things are the hallmarks of all decadent elites. And they apply also to the Clintons (oddly Trump does not seem to have these problems, not then, he’s not a politician).

I’ve mentioned before I know an 84-year-old man who spent his life as a political consultant. He said he’s known only one honest politician – all the rest had money, sex and drug problems. And when I looked at history – he was right!

Why is it such people so often seek political power – which means power over others? The power to turn people into corpses! Lots of corpses.

Is the exercise of political power that intoxicating for the weak-minded that they lose their conscience? (It’s been noticed for a long time you can have love or power, but not both.)

Power intoxicates and immunity corrupts.

The Greeks, well over 2000 year ago, noticed that those most prone to hubris were the weak –minded. They considered it a kind of insanity.

The whole sequence they outlined is Koros (the surfeit that afflicts a base man) to Hubris (arrogance, moral blindness, wanton violence) to Ate (a kind of "madness") to Nemesis (fate, retribution, destruction).

Has this ever been taught in school? Not to my knowledge. Church? Again, not that I know.

That’s too bad, because all us pay – and pay and pay – when weak-minded, dissolute “elites” gain political power over us.

And we vote them into office!

The only way the entire evil Bush crime family can be saved from Nemesis is by repentance. And what are the chances of their apologizing to the American people for the great evil they’ve done and withdrawing completely from politics?

Zero. Since all of them are base, degraded people, they clearly lust for political power way too much, to the point it is a sickness – a sin.

'oddly Trump does not seem to have these problems, not then, he’s not a politician'

There's been rumblings about sex in the past, money not as much(other than bankruptcies, and I have never heard anything about Trump being a drug user.

The money part with politicians are because they are bought and paid either by lobbyists or some equally effeminate wealthy philanthropist string puller who has a god complex about the world. Then things like money and power can lead to a hedonistic lifestyle pretty easily.

Bill Clinton is exhibit A to what happens to a person after living that life for years. I don't know if it is the cocaine use or the syphilis...but he looks like he is in lala land most of the time.

Hey - you are entitled to hate whoever you want, but you are not entitled to your own facts. Bush Sr. And Dubya are gentlemen and warriors all the way through. Cowards can't be pilots -never mind fighter/attack pilots.
Gotta admit though - didn't like Jeb much.

Listen Bob - Bush didn't start any wars. The Moslems did and the first thing they are gonna do is test Trump (or Billary) the second Obama is kicked to the curb. Moslems know idiots when they see them and that's how they played Obama with such success. They will have a field day with Hillsry if she wins. Trump will go to war with those shitbirds too if necessary - make no mistake about it.

Bush avoided Vietnam by hiding in a champagne unit and yes, he attacked a country that had nothing to do with 9-11.

Glen makes a nice point here. King George I was entrusted with a high performance, multi-million dollar aircraft which he successfully landed on an aircraft carrier. The US Navy is not going to entrust such a craft to an idiot. King George II, no genius maybe, but no dummy.

As for Slick Willy, as it happens I have a friend who worked elbow to elbow with Slick, and the so-and-so won't talk. He did say, however, that Hitlery nearly beaned him with a lamp. I think Slick should have popped her a nice one for that little stunt, but he didn't. He also said that Slick Willy was far and away the smartest president he'd ever known, and he's know a few. Morally, he was an absolute pig. A real chazzer. But intellectually he is brilliant.

As for me, I'm looking forward to the rag heads drawing a line in the sand and daring Donald to cross it. Don would probably piss on the line and descend on the terrorists line the vengeance of Allah.

I know an 84-year-old man who flew a B-29 bomber during Korea. Being able to fly a plane doesn't have anything to do with being a good President. Hell, one of my old girlfriends has a pilot's license.

Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld did their best to stay out of combat. None volunteered for Vietnam. Combat is for the unwashed masses, not the decadent rich.

I have a lot of respect for the men who fought in Vietnam. They fought in a foolish war that was started by war criminals, and then were abandoned by their criminal government for the honour. That was one of the reasons I loathed that white trash Bill Clinton with the intensity of 1000 suns. He dodged the draft by hiding in England so better men could face death in his place. Then his successor took his place, and he was no better. He may yet turn out to be a bigger criminal than the clit was. Draft dodgers become war criminals.

'Bush didn't start any wars.'

Why did we invade Iraq when it was said the perp was in either Afghanistan or Pakistan? 'Weapons of mass destruction' nonsense? Was Bush that dumb he didn't know how to read a globe?

That's why I didn't vote for him a second time. Started an unjust war.

Jeb Bush's presidential run revealed the horrifying truth that George was the smart one.

Which politician is it?
